The Coastal Saltwater Anglers (CSA) will further the knowledge of peoples fishing and will participate in fishing tournaments from NC to SC, Inshore and offshore saltwater fishing. We will have fishing tournaments against other colleges in SC and NC.  We go on fishing trips about twice a month offshore if not more during the summer months. Club dues are twenty dollars a person. We are a group of guys and gals looking to get more people into serious fishing and are looking for more fishing friends to join our club.

The purpose of our organization is to further the knowledge of the students of Coastal Carolina University, in order to conduct the business of the student body in efficient, orderly and open manner; to set forth the powers and responsibilities of student saltwater anglers; to provide a framework for effective Saltwater Fishing; to help empower student saltwater anglers to become active citizens and conservation minded persons; and to provide means by which the students may have a lasting positive impact on the saltwater fishing community of the Coastal Carolina University area;  set forth this constitution for the Coastal Saltwater Anglers, of Coastal Carolina University. The club will also follow all local and federal laws that are in place during the time of any activity.

CSA plans to participate in community service projects that will involve helping the local saltwater areas of Myrtle Beach and its local estuaries. This Club is mainly focused on Saltwater Fishing and the techniques that are involved in Saltwater Fishing. We will be focused on helping the students of Coastal Carolina in succeeding in catching and learning about the many different saltwater species located around Myrtle Beach SC. We hope to work closely with the local DNR to learn their conservation techniques to further prolong our sport and passion.
