Baked Speckled Trout

 

BAKED SPECKLED TROUT
 

4 med. trout filets
1 sm. Vidalia onion, sliced
1 lemon
1/2 stick butter
(Kosher) Salt
Lemon Pepper
Garlic powder
Pam Vegetable spray or Canola oil

Spray baking dish or cast iron skillet with vegetable spray or Canola oil. Place filets in dish; cover fish with butter & squeeze juice from lemon over fish. Sprinkle salt, lemon pepper and garlic powder, and sliced onion, over fish. Let stand for 1/2 hour, then bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
